Gina Meola is promoted from director of artist bookings to her new role

New York-based artist management and public relations agency Jensen Artists has announced the appointment of Gina Meola to the role of vice president of artist management and booking. Effective immediately, Meola will be promoted from director of artist bookings to her new role.
Having joined Jensen Artists in 2015 as the agency's first booking agent, Meola has, for the last eight years, worked to shape the careers of Jesen Artists’ artists and ensembles, all with a dedication to bringing classical music to the widest possible audience.
Jensen Artists founder Christina Jensen said: ‘When we launched our management roster in 2015… Gina was one of the first people I interviewed for our newly created role of booking agent. Immediately, she impressed me with her enthusiasm, knowledge, and determination. I've continued to be impressed over these past eight years as Gina has built strong and growing relationships across the field with artists, orchestras, and presenters, as well as with fellow managers and industry leaders.’
Meola is a graduate of Fredonia University where she served on the executive board of student-run presenting organisation Ethos New Music Society in a variety of roles including vice president and president. At Jensen Artists she supports the company’s holistic ethos and its aim of ‘celebrat[ing] those who are creating a thriving, abundant ecosystem for the genre in today’s modern world.’
Talking about her new appointment, Meola said: ‘I'm thrilled and grateful to begin this new chapter at Jensen Artists. It's such a joy to be part of the team and have the opportunity to learn from Christina's exceptional leadership. I'm truly honored to work with our spectacular artists as well as our distinguished colleagues and collaborators, and I'm looking forward to continuing to advocate Jensen Artists' mission!’
