The programme, which offers funding from April 2025 to March 2028, asks organisations to express their intention to apply by 10 August
Creative Scotland is inviting expressions of interest in its Multi-Year Funding Programme (MYFP) by next Thursday (10 August). The programme offers funding for not-for-profit creative and cultural organisations in Scotland for the initial period of April 2025 to March 2028.
Replacing the Regular Funding for Organisations programme, the MYFP aims to bring together support for longer-term, year-on-year funding for organisations into one programme. The new programme will also replace some parts of the support provided through other funding schemes including Open Funds and Targeted Funds.
Designed to support organisations seeking funding for sustained programmes of creative or cultural activity, the new programme is aimed at organisations ‘which wish to enter into a sustained strategic funding relationship with Creative Scotland, including Screen Scotland.’ Applications do not have a set upper limit, but there is a minimum annual level of award of £50,000.
Once expressions of interest are submitted via Creative Scotland’s online portal, applications will go through a two-stage process, with stage one opening on 6 September and closing on 25 October and results expected in February 2024. Stage two will be open from March to April 2024, and multi-year funding will begin in April the following year.
Opportunities to apply for funding on an annual basis will continue for a period after the introduction of MYFP.
