Peter Sellars awarded Guildhall honorary fellowship

The award was presented at the Guildhall School's annual graduation ceremony.
Every year, as part of Graduation Day, the Board of Guildhall School elects a small number of people to the Fellowship, the school’s highest accolade.
This year's honorary fellowship was awarded virtually to renowned theatre and opera director Peter Sellars.
Honorary fellowships recognise outstanding professional achievement or service to the school, by cultural leaders who do not have a formal connection with the school.
In addition, as one of the graduating students of 2020, saxophonist Jess Gillam was presented with her Masters in Performance.
