Presto Music receives Good Business Charter accreditation

Presto Music has received the accreditation for meeting GBC’s 10 criteria including ethical sourcing and paying a real living wage.
Sheet music and instrument e-commerce site Presto Music has announced that it has joined the Good Business Charter (GBC). This accreditation aims to recognise organisations which care for their employees, customers, suppliers and the environment as well as paying taxes according to the spirit of the law.
Presto Music has received the accreditation for meeting GBC’s 10 criteria including paying a real living wage as well as caring for employee well-being, prompt payment and ethical sourcing.
Chairman of the GBC board, Simon Fox, said: ‘We believe that the GBC has enormous potential to change business practices for good. With this accreditation, Presto Music has been recognised for its many responsible business practices. It is a pleasure to welcome them on board.’
The GBC has been set up by the Good Business Foundation with accreditation given for free for all companies in the first year. The foundation partners with the Living Wage Foundation and the Prompt Payment Code
Founded in 1986, Presto Music is an e-commerce site for classical and jazz music, sheet music, music books and musical instruments. Chris O’Reilly, Presto’s CEO, said: ‘This accreditation marks our deep-rooted and long-term commitment to building a supportive, responsible and inclusive culture that best serves our employees, customers and the environment both now and into the future.’
