'On with the Show' aims to help music creators get back to live performance
PRS for Music has launched a new series of webinars and resources aimed at supporting musicians and composers in getting back to live performance after the pandemic.
'On with the Show' comprises webinars, event appearances and further resources, and will be made available throughout the rest of the year.
Throughout September, webinars entitled ‘On with the Show: How To - Earn Royalties from Live’, will focus on how members can manage their account via the PRS for Music website, how they can report a live performance, and how live royalties work.
PRS for Music’s charity partner, PRS Members’ Fund, and the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM), will be running a series of webinars with a focus on creativity and mental wellbeing that will provide a safe space for members to reflect on the past year and their creative practice.
Andrea Czapary Martin, CEO of PRS for Music, said: 'We know the last 18 months have been incredibly difficult for all music creators, and for those who perform live, the devastating impact of the pandemic has been especially hard. The ‘On with the Show’ initiative is intended to provide support and resources to those finally taking to the stage again, as people slowly start to enjoy live music in a safe environment.'
PRS members can sign up for ‘On with the Show: How To - Earn Royalties from Live’ webinars on the following dates at the links below:
