UK Music and DCMS to hold live events 'crisis meeting'

Speakers will include Julian Knight MP, Chair of Commons DCMS Select Committee, Jamie Njoku-Goodwin, CEO of UK Music and Paul Reed, CEO of Association of Independent Festivals.

On behalf of UK Music, Njoku-Goodwin will be explaining what the lack of insurance means for live music across the country and the threat it poses to the proposed 'summer of fun'. Government ministers have been invited to the meeting.
