According to a survey conducted by Encore Musicians, over three quarters of UK musicians said that Brexit travel restrictions would prevent them touring in Europe

In addition, 91% of respondents felt that Brexit will have a negative impact on their careers.
The news follows weeks of mounting tension between the music industry and the UK government, after it was revealed that the UK turned down a proposal by the EU that would allow for visa-free touring in Europe.
The survey also revealed that the average musician earns nearly £5000 a year from touring in Europe, and that nearly half of respondents have already cancelled European engagements as a direct result of Brexit.
James McAulay, CEO of Encore Musicians, summarises the findings here.
