City Music Foundation opens applications for 2021 intake

City Music Foundation has announced the opening of applications for its two-year programme of professional development

Applications are welcomed from musicians early in their professional careers in classical, jazz, folk and world musicians, both soloist and ensembles, to join its two-year programme.

Beginning in autumn 2021, the CMF Artists will participate in a career development programme consisting of:

  • Artistic and project management - across the UK and beyond

  • Performance opportunities at events and residencies curated and promoted by CMF

  • Mentoring and coaching from artistic, organisational skills, music industry

  • Career development workshops

  • Commissioning Promotional Tools - photos, websites, videos and CDs

  • Commissioning new music

  • Promotion in print, online and on air

  • Access to day-to-day support from the CMF Team
