Leading music retailer reports biggest growth ever in classical music and jazz sales

One of the world's largest e-commerce sites for the retail of classical music and jazz has provided an  encouraging breakdown of its sales growth that has led to a 63% increase this year, the largest in the company's history.

• Classical Recording (CDs and Downloads) are up 32%
• Jazz Recordings (CDs and Downloads) are up 113%
• Sheet Music is down 5%, (but up 5% excluding a single, unusually large  order from last year). 
• Music Books are are up 125%

Presto's musical instruments and accessories department was only established last month, making it too early to report on sales in this sector.
