Opera North to run singing workshops for all voice types this spring

The course is open to singers of all levels, from complete beginners to experienced choir-goers, and participants don't need to know their voices types or be able to read music to join in.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to sing excerpts from Verdi’s Aida, Mozart’s Idomeneo, and Dvořák’s Rusalka. In the final session, singers from all vocal parts will come together to sing in a full virtual chorus. 

The course is ‘pay as you feel’ - attendees will have the opportunity to donate however much they like in the checkout stage and before or after each workshop.  

There is one session a week per voice type which will last approximately one hour.
